Tecidos messiânicos em "Galileia", de Ronaldo Correia de Brito

Abstract

Literature contains a wealth of discourses, which is revealed through each reading performed. This is the case of the work of Ronaldo Correia de Brito, Galileia. Filled with lots of fantasy and reality, the novel's narrator dialogues, on the one hand, with discourses of Judeo-Christian tradition and,on the second one, with the messianic discourses interwoven from readings of Brazilian Northeast. Therefore, this study disserts on the messianic webs present in Galileia, emphasizing the recurrent theme of messianism, which leads us to echoes of voices, for instance, from the texts of the Bible, which are analyzed and interpreted with the story of three cousins, crossing the outback of Inhamuns and returning to Galileia farm to celebrate the birthday of patriarch and grandfather Raimundo Caetano. For this, we divided the research into three chapters. In the first one, we covered poetic language as biblical and literary phenomena that enable the creation of a network of open and crossed stories. In the second one, we highlighted the northeastern environment and the religious place as discursive gaps, where diversity claims its space. In the last chapter, in turn, we talked about the messianic webs that compose the lines and between the lines of Galileia work. Thus, the work and the analysis in question, because of the textual materiality already mentioned, result in a complex web of discourses, yet to say, say it here. And when they say themselves, they allow for a look for themselves and for the other one through the studied work. So, theoretically, the research relies on an interdiscursive hermeneutics and a bibliographic research, based on the contributions of Iser (2002), Brandão (2006), Magalhães (2009), Deleuze and Guattari (1995), Queiroz (1977 ) Musumeci (2004), Albuquerque Junior (2007), among others, that helped us in the composition of this dissertation.
